Philosophy At Blackman Legal Group, we start by analyzing the needs and goals of our clients. Medical concerns are always our first priority. We encourage clients to see the right people in a wide variety of healthcare services. We strive to reduce our clients’ worries and anxieties by helping them find sources of payment for the medical care they need, obtaining credit for them to receive the care they need, or at least holding off creditors such as hospitals from pursuing collection until the cases are settled. Complaining about injuries is not something most people feel comfortable doing. It can be embarrassing, and people do not want to burden their families and friends with their problems. We encourage our clients to tell us everything about their accident-related limitations and losses. This makes up the proof of that part of their cases frequently referred to as “pain and suffering”. We like to tell our clients “leave your worries in our worry jar”. Clients work different shifts, and due to family needs, may be unavailable to call us with information we need to handle their case during regular work hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Therefore, we have a confidential, 24-hour unlimited voice mail system operating 7 days per week. This way clients can call at any time and leave us confidential messages concerning their case. At Blackman Legal Group, all clients’ cases are handled by experienced injury lawyers and a trained staff of paralegals. Our specialized training and expertise allows us to make appropriate and needed referrals for medical treatment or vocational rehabilitation and to counsel clients regarding other pressing matters resulting from their injuries. Our main goals are to help clients get the medical care that they need for their injuries, and to collect the best possible financial recovery for our clients. The majority of our cases are received by referral, primarily from satisfied clients, healthcare providers, and other members of the community who are familiar with our excellent reputation for handling injury and wrongful death cases.
